Coaching sessions include clarifying your goals for your body, assessment of posture and movement habits, guided sensorimotor explorations, release of long-held tensions, and development of easeful ways of moving in your work and recreation. Before we meet, I’ll ask you to send me short video clips of yourself—walking, sitting down and standing up, bending over, etc.. That way we can begin to improve your posture right away.
Your body is a terrain of anatomy and experience, of space and time that we explore together, looking for the ease and grace that are your birthright.
The foundation of my work is 45 years of experience with Ida Rolf’s manual therapy and associated movement education.
If you’re just beginning to re-educate your body, I’ll help you find optimal alignment and smoother, more comfortable movement..
If you’re a Structural Integration practitioner I can help you to more deeply embody your understanding of Rolf’s principles.
