A Structural Integration practitioner’s expertise includes the ability to enliven clients’ body awareness and to provide movement education to help clients sustain the results of the manual therapy. This workshop is designed for SI practitioners to gain body-reading confidence and success in facilitating body awareness and in creating practical movement solutions for clients. As always, Mary’s emphasis is on experiential learning and personal embodiment.
Topics include:
Detailed exploration of the role of the mouth and tongue in supporting both nasal breathing and upright posture of the neck.
Body-wide rotational movement as essential to efficient and graceful human locomotion.
How “Tensegrity Informed Movement” improves both strength and coordination, and sustains the benefits of SI manual therapy.
The respiratory diaphragm in partnership with the deep core as part of our bodies’ biotensegrity organization.
